Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Prehat oven to 300F
  2. Place brisket fat side up in pan
  3. Sprinkle with the chopped onion
  4. Combine remaining ingredients in a measure cup
  5. Pour over the brisket
  6. Cover roasting pan tightly with foil
  7. Bake 4 hours or until internal temp is 190F and meat is tender
  8. Let sit 10 mins before carving against the grain
  9. Note: even better: cook a day ahead of time
  10. Remove brisket from drippings
  11. Cover brisket with foil and chill ovrnight
  12. Refrigerate drippings and skim off fat
  13. Slice chilled brisket
  14. Combine sliced meat with the pan drippings, place in roasting pan and gently reheat at 325F about 30 mins or well heated
