How to Make 'tofu' - a Simple Homemade Recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 250 g soybeans
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 lemon , juice of
  • water , as required

Directions:

  1. Soak soyabeans in water for 12-15 hours.
  2. Grind to a fine paste and extract milk by adding sufficient water and passing it through a fine muslin cloth.
  3. Heat the milk obtained, stirring off and on, to prevent burning.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Add yogurt and lemon juice.
  6. Stir until completely curdled.
  7. Allow the curdled milk to settle and pass it through a muslin cloth.
  8. The resultant mass is tofu.
  9. This tofu can be used like paneer in many dishes!
