Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs hot dogs
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1 (12 oz) can beer

Directions:

  1. Mix brown sugar, ketchup and beer together in a large sauce pan.
  2. Cut up the hot dogs into bite size pieces and drop into the brown sugar mixture.
  3. Heat on low heat about 45 minutes or until the hot dogs start to plump and burst at the edges.
  4. Serve from a hot dish or in a crock pot. Mine never made it to the hot plate, everyone ate it before I had the chance! Next time I'll make extra.
