Honey 'n' Spice Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In large mixing bowl, combine all cookie ingredients.
  3. Beat at low speed, scraping sides of bowl often, until well mixed (1-2 minutes).
  4. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  5. Bake near center of oven for 7 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  6. While cookies are still in the oven, combine glaze ingredients and stir until smooth.
  7. Frost cookies while still warm.
