Homemade Gel Air Freshener

Ingredients:

  • 4 unflavored gelatin , packets
  • 10 drops rose essence, fragrance or 10 drops your favorite essential oils
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • food coloring (optional)

Directions:

  1. Place one cup of distilled water in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Add the gelatin and blend until dissolved, then remove from the range and add the other cup of distilled water, the salt, and the rose fragrance.
  3. If you would like a colored freshener, add a few drops of food coloring.
  4. Place the mixture into small jars and allow it to remain at room temperature for about 12 hours.
  5. The result will be a very effective gel air freshener.
  6. The addition of the salt should eliminate the possibility of mold forming.
