Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Melt butter in a 9 x 13 x 2 inch dish.
  3. Heat sugar and water (or juice) until melted.
  4. Cut shortening and flour into fine crumbs.
  5. Add milk and stir until dough leaves bowl side.
  6. Turn onto floured board.
  7. Knead slightly and roll to 1/4 inch thick.
  8. Sprinkle fruit evenly over dough.
  9. Roll up like jelly roll.
  10. Dampen edge and seal.
  11. Place into butter.
  12. Slice inot about 16 slices.
  13. Place into butter.
  14. Pour in sugar syrup carefully (2 cups min.).
  15. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 55 - 60 minutes.
