Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cut sticks into 1in. pieces
  2. Layer the bottom of a 9 x 13 in. baking pan with brown sugar
  3. Lay the sticks onto the sugar in a single layer
  4. Press any extra sticks into the sides and corners
  5. (slice fruit and place between sugar and sticks)
  6. In large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, eggs, vanilla, salt and water
  7. Cover sticks with mixture, pressing the sticks down to wet thoroughly
  8. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  9. Sprinkle sticks with the white sugar
  10. Bake for 30-40 mins.
  11. After baking, broil top for 2-3 mins.
  12. Let pudding stand for 10 mins and invert onto serving plate.
