  1. In a large pitcher, combine 4 cups dry red wine, 3/4 cup brandy, and 1/2 cup orange liqueur. Stir in 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice, and 1/8 cup fresh lime juice. Taste and add extra sugar as needed. Add 2 thinly sliced oranges; 1 thinly sliced lemon; and 1 apple and 2 peaches, cut in wedges. Cover and chill. Add 1 cup chilled club soda or seltzer water just before serving.
