Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 dash salt
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • flour (for dredging)
  • oil (for deep frying)
  • sugar with cinnamon (for dusting)
  • honey (optional)

Directions:

  1. Beat the eggs with the milk.
  2. Sift in the dry ingredients and stir just until mixed.
  3. Dredge the apple slices in the flour, then dup in batter to coat.
  4. Heat the oil and fry the apple slices.
  5. Drain the excess oil and dust with cinammon sugar.
  6. Drizzle with honey, if desired.
