Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup of sugar ...

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven at 375 Degrees
  2. First thing you want to do is In a heavy sauce pan.. cook your sugar on very low heat... Do a couple of tablespoons at a time (if you do all sugar at once, you'll get one big clump...)
  3. Once Melted, pour into your pan... spreading sugar, coating all sides... You can always melt more sugar if
  4. You'd like.... (NOTE~~~~ Sugar will not stick to aluminum pans, has to be Ceramic or Glass)
  5. Next Mix all goodies.. Start with Eggs ... Whip them til fluffy then pour milk one at a time, Add Vanilla then Cream Cheese... You'll see clumps of cheese which is perfectly fine.... Pour over your Sugar/Candy Mixture..... You'll hear crackling, and that's ok....
  6. Place your Pan in a larger pan and pour water in the largerpan , so your pan is in a water Basin... (at least 1 inch high, if not possible, then check it every once in a while and add water if needed.... don't let it dry out or your Flan will burn......
  7. Cook uncovered on 375 for 15 minutes....... After 15 minutes... Turn heat down to 350 and cover for the rest of 45-60 minutes, depending on your oven, start checking it after 45 minutes...... Toothpick should come out Clean from center...
  8. Cool and refrigerate, Flip over when ready to serve..... Enjoy
