Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 cups asparagus
  • 1 dash nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 cups green beans
  • 1/2 tsp savory
  • 2 cups broccoli
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1 cup carrot
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 2 cups cauliflower
  • 1/2 tsp curry powder
  • 1 1/2 cups mushrooms
  • 1 dash nutmeg

Directions:

  1. In a soup pot melt and brown butter and flour. Add salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Add milk, chicken broth, Mrs. Dash and onion. Choose a vegetable (pureed or chopped) and seasonings.
