Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cream together the butter, adding sugar slowly and beating
  2. Until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs, vanilla, beating well after each addition.
  4. Sift together flour, soda, salt and baking powder.
  5. Slowly add dry ingredients. Stir in oatmeal and coconut
  6. Flakes.
  7. Drop by large teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake in a preheated 375 degrees F., 12 to 15 minutes, or
  9. Until golden. Remove to wire racks to cool.
