Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cream shortening and sugar well.
  2. Add eggs and beat thoroughly.
  3. Add vanilla and blend.
  4. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
  5. Add to creamed ingredients.
  6. Beat until smooth.
  7. Stir in nuts, chocolate chips and coconut.
  8. Spread into greased 10-1/2 x 15-1/2 pan.
  9. Bake at 325 degrees for about 25 minutes.
  10. Cut into 1 x 3-1/2 bars when almost cool.
  11. Yield: 3-1/2 dozen bars.
