Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar

Directions:

  1. Slice coconut into strips with a vegetable peeler.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a pan.
  3. Boil for 20 to 30 minutes stirring frequently until water evaporates.
  4. Pour onto a large baking sheet.
  5. Separate strips with a fork and let cool.
  6. Store in airtight container.
