Claudia's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. Cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and stir well.
  4. Add the flour and baking soda and mix to combine.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls (approx. golf ball sized) onto a baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake at 325F for 12 minutes (until the edges just barely start to brown). Cool on the sheet for a couple minutes before removing to a wire rack to finish cooling.
