Chocolate Turtle Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 10 tbsp cocoa
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Heat the waffle iron.
  2. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
  3. Bake on waffle iron a few seconds until firm. Use a spoonful of dough for each cookie.
  4. Refrigerate dough if it sticks to iron.
  5. Frost with powdered sugar, cocoa and a little milk and vanilla. (This is how Grandma had it on her recipe it's been so long since I've made these I don't remember the amounts I used. I'll post them when I've made it again).
