Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. In mixing bowl, beat butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy
  3. Beat in chocolate and peppermint extract
  4. Gradually add flour
  5. Stir in chocolate chips
  6. ~~Dough will be soft~~
  7. Drop by tablespoonful 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet
  8. Bake 6-8 minutes
  9. Remove to cooling rack
  10. Icing
  11. Combine all ingredients
  12. Ice cooled cookies and let set
  13. Drizzle
  14. Microwave chips and shortening until melted and stir until smooth
  15. Drizzle over cookies
  16. Makes 4 dozen
