Chicken With Tomato and Honey

Ingredients:

  • 2 kg tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp ginger
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 6 tbsp olive oil

Directions:

  1. Boil and peel tomatoes. Remove seeds and cut into large pieces. Cut garlic and onions in slivers.
  2. In a pot, heat olive oil and add chicken and cook each side about 5 minutes. Take out chicken.
  3. Sauté onions and garlic to pot. Add spices and tomatoes. Mix well and place chicken on top. Salt and pepper. Cover and let simmer for about 1 hour.
  4. When the tomatoes are a purée, take out chicken and place on serving dish. Add honey onto tomatoes and let cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Grill sesame seeds in a separate pan.
  6. Pour the tomato sauce on the chicken and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
