Ingredients:

  • 2 packages dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup lukewarm water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 1/2 cups flour , approximate amount

Directions:

  1. Mix water with yeast, stir to dissolve.
  2. Scaldmilk and add butter and sugar. Cool to lukewarm.
  3. Add yeast mixture to milk with salt and eggs, mix well.
  4. Add cheese and flour to make soft dough. Turn ou on lightly floured board and knead until smooth.
  5. Place in greased bowl, cover and allow to rise inwarm place unti doubled in bulk. (about an hour to an hour and a half)
  6. Punch dough down. Grease dough with butter , cover and store in refrigerator.
  7. Before shaping into rolls allow to stand for about one hour at room temperature. Make into rolls and place on greased sheet. Allow to rise until double in bulk in warm place.
  8. Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes or until brown.
