Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 F
  2. Line circular 6 inch diameter pie dish with parchment paper or aluminum foil
  3. Place bacon strips, starting from the center out in a radial pattern - cover the entire bottom - half of each bacon strip should be hanging out of the dish
  4. Season bacon with pepper
  5. Place one level of yam slices
  6. Add thin layer of parmesan cheese
  7. Layer with yam and cheese until dish is filled
  8. Fold the bacon over the top, again, in a radial pattern
  9. Press down on contents of dish
  10. Cover with aluminum foil
  11. Bake for 3 hours in 350 F oven
  12. Optional step: Run a marathon to clear up your arteries in preparation
  13. Enjoy a SMALL piece
