Bourbon Butterscotch Ice Cream Sauce

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a large heavy saucepan, stir brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and cream over medium heat until boiling
  2. Reduce heat and boil stirring occasional,for 15 minutes or until thickened
  3. Remove from heat
  4. Cool 10 minutes
  5. Stir in bourbon and vanilla and cool to room temperature
  6. Pour into jars, cover and refrigerate
  7. Makes 4 cups

  10. Tie a little note to the jar with instructions to store in the refrigerator and to bring to room temperature before serving
