Baked Cheese Prawns

Ingredients:

  • 600 g large shrimp
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 3/4 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. Shell prawns and devein.
  2. Split prawns lengthwise from underside.
  3. Wash and pat dry.
  4. Season prawns with salt, sugar and pepper.
  5. Mix breadcrumbs and cheese.
  6. Coat prawns with egg then with the breadcrumb and cheese mixture.
  7. Place prawns in dish, spreading split prawns lengthwise.
  8. Brush with butter.
  9. Bake at 400°F for 15mins.
