Aunt Eileen's Sauce Pan Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate in pan over low heat, stirring.
  3. Cool.
  4. Beat in vanilla and sugar.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, stir well.
  6. Sift flour and salt, add to chocolate.
  7. Gently stir in chocolate chips.
  8. Pour into 8x8x2 pan.
  9. Bake 25 minutes.
