Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup canola oil
  • 2-1/2 cups king arthur unbleached self-rising flour

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine sugar, eggs and oil. Stir in flour and cinnamon (batter will be thick). Stir in apples and nuts. Spread into greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Sprinkle with chips.
  2. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until golden and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool before cutting. Yield: 2 dozen.
