Apple Pecan Cobbler

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425.
  2. Grease a square baking pan or dish.
  3. In a large mixing bowl carefully spoon together apples, brown sugar, honey, tapioca, lemon juice, cinnamon and chopped pecans.
  4. Pour apple filling into greased pan or dish and drizzle melted butter over the top and set aside.
  5. In another large bowl combine flour, baking powder, sugar, pecans, butter and whipping cream.
  6. Stir vigorously with a wooden spoon about 30 seconds until a stiff dough forms.
  7. Spoon pecan dough on top of apple pecan filling to create a cobblestone effect.
  8. Bake 25 minutes.
  9. Cool 15 minutes before adding glaze.
  10. To make the glaze in a medium saucepan stir powdered sugar and milk over medium heat until smooth.
  11. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.
  12. Set aside to cool about 5 minutes then pour over cooled cobbler to form glaze.
  13. Serve immediately.
