Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Grease and flour cookie sheets.
  3. Cream almond paste with melted butter.
  4. Beat egg whites with salt until they form soft peaks.
  5. Add sugar, a tablespoon at a time.
  6. Continue beating until peaks are very firm.
  7. Fold into the almond paste mixture, adding flour and almonds.
  8. Fit a pastry bag with a number seven tube.
  9. Drop small round of batter on cookie sheets,spacing 1 inch between.
  10. Bake 5-8 minutes until edges of cookies are golden brown.
