Wasabi Vinaigrette

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup wasabi powder
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup cilantro leaf
  • 2 1/2 cups vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

Directions:

  1. Set up a blender. In a mixing bowl, stir together wasabi powder and 1/4 cup water until smooth. Add all ingredients (including wasabi mixture) except the oil into the blender, and blend until combined. With blender on the lowest speed, drizzle in the oil and blend until thick. Keep cold until ready to use.
  2. This makes 3 cups of mild to medium heat vinaigrette.
