Ingredients:

  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 bottle tomato juice 32oz
  • thyme , garlic , basil to taste

Directions:

  1. Here's a recipe for Easy Tomato Soup that my parents got 20 or so years ago from the Holiday Inn at Wytheville, TN. It should give you some ideas on how to spice your juice up.
  2. -22 oz. can chopped whole seedless tomatoes
  3. Oz. can V-8 Cocktail Juice
  4. Tbs. sugar
  5. Bay leaf (remove it before serving)
  6. Thyme, garlic and basil to taste
  7. Just simmer all the ingredients together until the chopped tomatoes fall apart.
