Taste Like Home Churned Butter

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb cheap margarine or 1 lb oleo
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2-1 tsp salt (optional)
  • yellow food coloring (optional)

Directions:

  1. Let margarine or oleo soften to room temperature.
  2. In large mixing bowl blend margarine or oleo with electric mixer till fluffy.
  3. Slowly add oil while beating,and repeat process with buttermilk.
  4. If salt and food coloring is desired,add during the first beating.
