Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 2 1/4 cups rolled oats
  • 1 3/4 cups cut up dates
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

  1. Cream the margarine and sugar.
  2. Add eggs, milk and vanilla.
  3. Stir in dry ingredients then add oats and nuts.
  4. Spoon about 1-inch balls on greased cookie sheet.
  5. Flatten with fork dipped in flour.
  6. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
