  • 3/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 Make a syrup by mixing up water, corn syrup, and sugar together in a pot and heating over medium heat until syrupy.
  • 2 Then mash up strawberries and strain into a bowl through a cheesecloth. You should have about 1 1/2 cups of juice.
  • 3 Add your strawberry juice and lemon juice to the cooled syrup and freeze in a metal loaf pan covered tightly with foil.
