Ingredients:

  • jar of capers
  • package of crackers

Directions:

  1. Food processor a package of smoked salmon with a packet of cream cheese (ideally up the salmon and short the cream cheese; 60:40 rather than 50:50), but add the cream cheese in to the food processor slowly and make sure to scrape the processor down a couple of times.
  2. Ultimately the mixture should be a nice uniform pink.
  3. Spread the mixture on crackers with 2-3 capers per cracker. It's insanely easy, requires no cooking skill at all, and produces an elegant hors d'oeuvre. Just don't forget the capers, or the lack of salt and tang will pretty much make this dish fall flat.
