lemon jell-o gelatin, drained crushed pineapple, drained fruit cocktail, cottage cheese, evaporated milk, mayonnaise, chopped pecans (i use a cup because my family loves nuts)

jello gelatin , prepared using speed set according to the recipe on the box (but do not refridgerate to set!), cream cheese (room temperature ), cool whip (store brand is fine ), fruit cocktail in heavy syrup, well drained ,set aside the juice (contrasting fruit, but flavor enriching), refined white sugar, mayonnaise, chopped pecans (any nut will do fine, use your imagination)
