Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 drops food coloring (or more if you like)

Directions:

  1. Steralize jar by boiling in water for a few minutes.
  2. Moisten one end of wooden stick then roll in sugar(this helps the crystals to form on it).
  3. Heat 1 cup water to boiling.
  4. Dissolve 2 cups sugar in water.
  5. Add food coloring.
  6. Pour mixture into jar and cover with styrofoam plate.
  7. Poke wooden stick(sugar coated end down) into mixture.
  8. Do not disturb for 2-3 days or until crystals form.
