Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a saucepan, combine rice, mixed vegetables, salt and water.
  2. Bring to a boil on high heat, then reduce heat, cover and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. While rice is cooking, heat 2 T butter and 1/2 C sliced almonds in a sauté pan. Turn frequently until almonds start to brown.
  4. Add almonds to rice mixture.
  5. Serve.
