Ingredients:

  • 1 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 cup water (100 deg f)
  • 2 tbsp dry yeast

Directions:

  1. Combine egg, sugar, oil, and salt. Beat until smooth. Dissolve yeast in warm water and add to egg mixture. Let stand for 5 min. Stir in enough additional flour to make a soft dough. Knead for 8 min. Preheat oven to 375 Deg F.
  2. Turn out on floured surface and shape into rolls about the size of ping pong balls. Place in well greased pans, brushed with egg wash (equal parts egg and water) and let rise until double.
  3. Bake for 20 min. Remove from pans and brush with melted butter. Original recipe makes 32 rolls.
