  1. Grease 11 X 7 pan add potatoes and dot with butter.
  2. Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour til tender.
  3. Alternatively, you may boil the potatoes 1 day before til tender.
  4. Combine sour cream and ranch dressing.
  5. Spoon over potatoes.
  6. Sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Bake 5-10 minutes.
