Quick Cornmeal Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups bread flour
  • 1/4 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp shortening
  • 1 egg

Directions:

  1. Mix and sift dry ingredients and cut in the shortening.
  2. Beat the egg and add it to the milk.
  3. Combine the liquid with the dry ingredients.
  4. Knead slightly, roll out and shape as Parker House rolls.
  5. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minute.
