Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup syrup , from can yams
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter

Directions:

  1. Oven directions:
  2. Combine syrup, sugar, and butter in saucepan over medium heat until thickened.
  3. Place yams in shallow baking dish and pour sauce over yams.
  4. Bake at 350* for 25-30 minutes.
  5. Stovetop directions:.
  6. Place all ingredients in a small saucepan.
  7. Bring just to boil on medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat, stir, and serve.
  9. Microwave directions:.
  10. Combine all ingrediens in a microwave safe dish.
  11. Cover and mocrowave on high for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes. Stir and serve.
