Ingredients:

  • 250 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 450 g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2500 g pineapple
  • 300 g sugar
  • 1 small cinnamon stick

Directions:

  1. For cooking the filling:.
  2. Mash pineapples and cook in saucepan till dry.
  3. Add sugar and cinnamon stick.
  4. Keep stirring till mixture becomes dry.
  5. For making the pineapple tarts:.
  6. Sift flour and milk powder together.
  7. Beat butter, sugar and egg in mixer well. Fold in flour.
  8. Mix well to form a dough.
  9. Roll out dough. Use a cutter to cut. Place on baking tray.
  10. Brush with beaten egg. Top with pineapple filling.
  11. Make crosses with dough to place on top of tarts.
  12. Brush again with beaten egg. Bake for 15 mins at 180°C.
