Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in egg yolks and vanilla extract.
  3. In separate bowl, combine flour and nutmeg.
  4. Gradually blend into creamed butter mixture.
  5. Stir in pecans.
  6. Spread half of dough into greased 8-inch square pan.
  7. Top with apricot jam.
  8. Spoon remaining dough over top and spread evenly.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50-60 minutes.
  10. Cool on rack.
  11. Sprinkle with icing sugar, if desired.
  12. Cut into narrow fingers.
