Peanut Butter Fudge

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. *Mix in a heavy pan the first four ingredients.
  2. Boil, stirring frequently until mixture forms a soft ball in cold water.
  3. Remove from heat and add peanut butter and vanilla. Beat until creamy and pour into a buttered size 9 x 9 pan. Cool.
  4. *For Chocolate Fudge: add one heaping teaspoon of cocoa to the top four ingredients before cooking.
