Orange Streusel Coffee Cake

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • topping
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tbsp butter,cut in small pieces
  • confectioners' sugar for dusting

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 375. Spray a 9 cake pan with non-stick cooking spray
  2. In a large bowl,whisk together flour,sugar,baking powder and salt. Stir in orange zest.
  3. Make a well in the flour mixture. Pour in the milk,orange juice,corn oil,egg and vanilla. Stir till just combined and all dry ingredients are moistened. Turn into prepared pan.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together ,sugar ,flour and butter till consistency of cornmeal. Sprinkle mixture evenly over the cake batter.
  5. Bake at 375 for 40 mins. or till toothpick in center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely in pan. Dust with confectioners sugar before slicing.
