Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oleo
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 cups quaker oats
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 tbsp hot water

Directions:

  1. Cream oleo and sugars.
  2. Add eggs and beat well with the vanilla.
  3. Mix together the flour, salt, soda, and cinnamon; add to the creamed mixture.
  4. Stir in the hot water, oats, and raisins; mix well.
  5. Place heaping tablespoonful batter on a greased cookie sheet (I use an air-bake cookie sheet).
  6. Bake at 350 degrees until almost done.
  7. Take out and cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute, then cool on a rack.
