No-Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 3 tbsp cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 3/4 cups quick oats

Directions:

  1. Melt margarine in large pan (2 1/2 qt) on medium heat.
  2. Add milk and sugar and cocoa.
  3. Mix thoroughly, bring to a boil and stir constantly.
  4. Boil 1 minute.
  5. Remove from heat, add peanut butter and oats.
  6. Mix thoroughly.
  7. Drop on wax paper by teaspoonfuls.
  8. Cool.
