Mom V's Bricks (Chocolate Chip Cookies)

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cream Crisco and sugars together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl mix together flour, salt, and baking soda.
  5. Add to Crisco mixture and mix thoroughly.
  6. Mix in chocolate chips and vanilla.
  7. Spread in a 10x15x1 greased jellyroll pan.
  8. Bake 15 minutes.
  9. Cut into rectangles while still warm.
  10. Note: Can substitute butterscotch, peanut butter, or other baking chips - or any desired combination - for the chocolate chips.
