Mom-Mom's Blonde Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 X 12 baking pan.
  2. Melt butter with brown sugar in saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Let cool slightly. Pour into mixer bowl.
  3. Add eggs, vanilla and water. Mix well.
  4. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Beat into butter mixture.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Optional: Add walnuts and one blonde wig.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
