Mini Chip Butter Crisps

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine flour and salt.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter until light and fluffy.
  4. Gradually beat in sugar and vanilla.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients and blend until smooth.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Shape dough into 1 inch balls.
  8. Place 12 at a time, on an ungreased baking sheet.
  9. Flatten out to circles about 2 inches in diameter with the bottom of a glass dipped in flour.
  10. Bake 10 minutes, or until desired crispness.
  11. Remove from baking sheets, let cool on wire racks.
