Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients except oil for deep frying and water.
  2. Add water, little by little, kneading to a soft pliable dough.
  3. Cover.
  4. Keep for 15 minutes.
  5. Break into small portions.
  6. Roll into 1 inch rounds.
  7. Keep a little thicker than puris.
  8. Prick with a fork.
  9. Place on a clean spread out cloth.
  10. Do this for all the dough.
  11. Heat oil in a pan.
  12. Add some of the round balls (matri) at a time.
  13. Fry till slightly golden.
  14. Flip side, repeat.
  15. Drain excess oil.
  16. Allow to become crisp.
  17. Store in an airtight container.
