Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 1 8 oz package chopped dates
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup rice krispies

Directions:

  1. Over medium heat, combine butter, dates, and sugar.
  2. Stir continuiously!
  3. Cook 5 minutes until well blended.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in Rice Krispies - mixture will be THICK!
  6. Shape into small balls - (Keep in mind, they are VERY sweet and rich!!)
  7. Roll in powder sugar and place on a sheet of wax paper.
  8. Cool completely before storing in air-tight container IF you any left!
